[ARTS & CULTURE] - Doomed By Blood: A Review Of Nosferatu (2024)
Nosferatu (2024) plunges into the depths of gothic horror, weaving a haunting tale of fate, desire, and sacrifice. Lily-Rose Depp’s Ellen Hutter is at the film’s heart, bound to Count Orlock (Bill Skarsgård) through dreams and doomed devotion. As Orlock’s plague descends upon Wisborg, Ellen alone holds the power to end him—at the cost of her own life. With chilling performances, striking visuals, and a grotesquely authentic take on vampirism, Robert Eggers delivers a mesmerizing retelling of the 1922 classic. Also, Willem Dafoe acts alongside 2,000 trained rats. Enough said.

[HUMOUR] - THE CAMPUS MICE WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE
The campus mice, once infamous for their invasion of dorms, apartments, and even the cafeteria, have officially surrendered and issued a heartfelt apology. At a sparsely attended town hall, the remorseful rodents admitted to their crimes, from toe nibbling to Takis-licking, and offered a Dairy Queen ice cream cake as a peace offering. Now reformed, they have pledged to serve as campus custodians—so if you spot one under your bed, don’t worry, it’s just cleaning (definitely not chewing your charger).
